About the Artist
The artist behind everything Pink Owlet is Dana Duncan.
Dana is a graphic designer, illustrator, and surface designer. Her love of type keeps her busy, but it can’t stop the flow of cuteness from her heart. Her illustrations and pattern designs channel her inner humor with their whimsical flair. Her patterns are inspired by nature, pop culture, and cats of course.
She teaches design and illustration classes for her day job. Known by her students as the digital dominatrix—she whips pixels into shape on a daily basis.
Owls may be her spirit animal, but she definitely dreams of electric sheep. Her weapons of choice are Photoshop, Illustrator and her sketchbook, of course. She works both Digital and analog to create her designs.
When she is not creating new patterns & art, she enjoys crafting next to her cats, Mochi and Sake.
